This is one of the sickest beats I've heard on NG. This beat is sick as hell. I only eish it was longer so I could spit somethin to it. I love sample beats.

I liked the melody but you should put a little more variaty in it. Like going down a chord on the last bar or something. Plus the lil' "ooh" thing in the back, kinda sounds gay. It's a little old skool if you know what I mean. (sounds like something off my old casio keyboard)
This is quality hip-hop though, and for your second submission, this is really good. You can tell you were into music before you joined NG.

This is some cool shit. But for a reggae beat it's not that good.
Most of the time in reggae beats there isn't a whole lot to it. But your beat sounds a little cluttered. Like theres too many instruments at once. The actual beat sounds good but the snare and kick isn't quite right for it. Keep trying. This is still pretty good. But . . .

Everything was cool until tem lil' strings came in. Them was garbage. Take that shit out or chang it or something. Plus it was slow. Like some 8-Ball/MJG shit. If you speed it up and add a higher snare on top of it that shit will be sick.

To tell you the truth when I got on today and saw this at the top of the list, and all my shit waaaaaaaaaaaay down the list, I was scared to listen to this track.
Somehow I knew. This really isn't that good. It's ok but ranked #1? Why can't people be honest? This is not a 4.
The beat is incredibly slow. And the melody is kinda wack. It's looks like you put as much effort into this as that Laffy Taffy beat. You can do much better. If this is a battle then unless the other guy sucks, you lost the first round.
Try harder.

It almost hurts me to say this cause I know you been working like a slave on these beats but you really cant become a sick ass producer over night. It's hard work and you on the come up.
I like the applause idea. If you can make raw beat out of some applause you are well on your way.
It sounds to me like some of the beat is just . . . well . . . off beat. Nothin' serious just at a certain point in the loop you get lost and loose grip on the beat. If you're having trouble staying on beat then use the metronome.
Still good work though.

You were inspired by me? I'm so flattered! This is a good first try. It mostly sounds like a bunch of sounds smooshed together but as a producer I can see where you were going.
All you needed was a better melody and an actual beat. You have to use kicks that hit hard and snares that can keep the beat moving.
Just a lil' advice; choose sound effects sparingly. Don't just pick a few and throw thwm in there. They have to contribute something to the sound of the beat. All of the bubbles and too many things like that makes your beat sound like a kiddy toy. They distract you form the rest of the beat.
